I normally wear the Stream and Gobi sandals and thought I would give the Crossers a try as I do a lot of kayaking and water activities. Just one suggestion both forefoot straps need to be adjustable as the nonadjustable one is just too big and I will have to either put a pleat in it or velcro to bottom strap at right point. I can not go a size smaller as the base is then too small. Absolutely love the Stream and Gobi

I bought a pair of these around 9 years ago and they have lasted phenomenally well. The strap arrangement takes a little bit of getting used to, but once you do they are very quick to put on. The sole is fantastic and didn't smell in the way sandals normally do after days of non-stop wear in hot countries.
Point where the strap is attached to the sole has finally given up the ghost (not surprising given the abuse I've given them), so I'm now trying to source another pair - not easy in Britain.
In summary - a great sandal with an unorthodox but effective strap system and a good sole.

My fourth pair of Source sandals are these crossers. A very comfortable lightweight sandal. The strap system on this model is really great; I chose this model specifically because it does not use velcro on the straps - reason being velcro on my former classic sandals collected a lot of grass seed over time,, eventually making fastening difficult. You need to think of which sandal suits your environment. After living on coral atolls , desert, and travels through remote parts of asia, I have found the Classic and Crosser models to be tough, long wearing and comfortable. In the long run they outperformed the other well known competitors.
The only issue I have with Source now is the Green Dot. ON my older models, this dot truly lasted a long time, more than a year in really rough abrasive terrain, on the crossers I have, although the tread pattern is in good condition, the green dots have worn away in a year and this pair have not been subjected to rough terrain. hence my 4 star rating.
Apart from that niggly comment I think the Crosser is a very good value for money sandal and I will buy them again.
