SOURCE Product Reviews
I love my Source sandals
I have been buying Source sandals since the 1990s. I love them and live in them in summer. They are comfortable, lightweight but strong and perfect for walking and working in the countryside. Doesn't matter if they get wet and they are really easy to clean, and they last for ages, I had to buy a new pair because the dog chewed them!
My second pair
Bought my second pair of Source sandal after my very first pair retired after 11 years!! I hung on to the old pair wanting to see how durable they were and they did not disappoint!
My new pair is just as sturdy and had great grip to the soles. Wonderful, exactly what I was after.

Amazing Israeli Tech at your Feet!
So glad to get my pair of Gobi Sandals in the post, despite import restrictions and postage issues due to the Covid 19 situation in my country Sri Lanka. Perfect fit and absolute comfort, looks rugged and durable. I've owned and used a pair of "Classic" sandals for years and I am glad that Source has listened to the feedback of us "Bigfoots" and included size 48 (US 14) to the Gobi range. Absolutely delighted with the product!
My new Widepac
For me, a vital system, especially for walking in warmer conditions. It offers the possibility of being able to sip frequently without having to stop and take my rucksack off in order to reach for a drink (in a water bottle).
The only drawback, apart from price, is that it is more difficult to dry the reservoir before storage than my previous system, which did not have the "divider".

Needed accessory
After receiving the brush it was simple to keep the tube as clean as brand new.
Maybe a short maintainence page would help users and sales.
I am very satisfied with the entire system and the prompt response of customer service people.
I will buy again from them when needed.
The system is easy to modify to fit the usage...another plus.
Again a very good product and company

Great Pack, Great Bladder, Terrible Mouthpiece (Helix)
I love the pack - the design, pockets, zippers are perfect for most rides.
Made from quality materials.
Bladder is easy to clean, very slick inside, heavy plastic... where the hose connects to the bladder output is not at the very bottom of the bladder, so there's always a little left in the reservoir that you can't get to.
The mouthpiece has lots of issue at the design level. You can take apart the mouthpiece to clean by opening it half way then pulling the piece out of the housing... unfortunately this happens all the time while trying to open it fully to drink, especially with gloves. The mouthpiece would fall out into my hands, then the open hose would dump all the reservoir on the trail. I had to swap out the mouthpiece with storm valve, but also had to change the hose because the helix housing is permanently attached to the hose it comes with... so add another $30s for the hose, Quick Connect, and Storm Valve.

I dream of a sole with square cones ...
I have been using Source sandals for 30 years. But the first model, which is similar to today's Stream, was more suitable for trekking. The sole had a pattern of square cones, which gave you better grip on forest ground in wet weather conditions and also on scree or in the river. I would like to see a model with this sole again. But even so the Stream is my favourite model.
