Stream is indeed the best a sandal can get. I bet you can't get a better from any other brand, but Source.
Amongst the other models of Source also, it gives you greatest flexibility by allowing you to adjust 3 straps - toe, above the heel and behind the heel.
I have been using it for over 6 months now, for walking, running and hiking. It does it all and with a lot of ease and superior comfort.
I'd especially recommend it for a flat-footer like me, who finds it very difficult to match a footwear to suit the requirements and yet be comfortable.
Thanks - Source, for building a great product!

I bought my first Source Sandals back in '96.
I followed a friend's recommendation and went for the Stream model. I didn't take them of for the next two or three years, when I found my first "real" job, and had to go back to shoes.
I made some great memories with them, went hiking all over, mountains, creeks, dessert, water, nothing seemed to change them at all, and I was big on trekking back in those days.
It was prior to the Green Dot, the Stream model came in Blue Drops, and the sole was not treated for bacteria, which meant it began to stink. The current pair I own doesn't seem to have that problem.
I really love Source Sandals. They've been a part of my life for so long, and I hope they will remain just that for many years to come.

I purchased my first pair of Source sandals in 1996 while I was studying in Jerusalem. I instantly fell in love with them for many reasons. First of all, the strap over the front of the foot of most major sandal companies typically goes directly over the small toe causing a lot of discomfort for the serious sandal wearer. Source intelligently moved the anchor point for the strap back to avoid this problem. Secondly, the ingenious "green dot" guarantee. Everyone who wears sandals knows that there are times during the year that they typically get put away. Now that I live in a much colder climate than Jerusalem, my sandals are put away for the winter and knowing that my guarantee is not running out just because the clock is running is one of the best ideas I've ever seen in footwear. Thirdly, the versatility of these sandals is unmatched. I’ve used them hiking, boating, swimming, working around the house and even dancing with my wife. The previous post mentioned the smell, but I found it was typically the sole of the shoe from contact with my foot and simply taking a nylon brush and some soap every few months takes care of that problem. Lastly, I wear my sandals constantly in the summer months, every vacation in the winter, and often around the house otherwise and I can't say enough about how these sandals stand up over time. They are rugged and well built. I don't want to say this because I don't want Source to reduce the "planned obsolescence” of their products but I am only on my third pair of sandals since 1996. That’s an average of 5 years for each pair. I have tried most of the competition’s products and they sit unused in my closet. Source is the only sandal I will ever purchase going forward. Thank you Source! sanderson0110@gmail.com

I love the stream. It's just so comfortable and durable. I can take it with me on whatever hike I'm doing, and know that no matter what mud I walk through or obstacle I face, it'll be right there for me. While the straps can start to smell a little bit after a lot of use, who knows a shoe that doesn't smell? I mean, seriously, we don't use our shoes for eating, they're for walking and protecting our feet. And the Stream does just that - it's a great sandal and I recommend it to anyone interested in getting for themselves a great that they know will last them a long time!
