CanadaGreat, but there is still some place for improvement
I have been wearing them for two years now, and only now the sole has begun to wear out. Overall - love them. They were perfect in Canadian summer- I walked with them rain or shine, strode with them into creeks and rivers, walked in the rain with them, and or course- in the hottest days too. I want to get them again - but I won't, until the company makes one improvement - or makes another model. I want the toe strap. The amount of times I have stumbled over this sandals is crazy. When the front of the sole hits something, it bends over backwards and I fall over. I want the toe strap so that it would keep in place. Please make it!! I want this so badly. The moment it releases, I will likely buy these and use them for the rest of my life!

USAwesome Strap Design!
I searched far and wide to find a barefoot sandal that crossed across the foot and around the ankle. I don't like flip flop type straps that go between the toe. This one is very comfortable to walk in, however the grey buckles push in and hurt the sides of my feet when I sit crossed legged. These shoes also are a bit slippery as well. I think if the buckle was switch to velcro or something softer, and the bottoms of the shoes were more textured to prevent slipping, this would honestly be the PERFECT barefoot sandal for walking, running, and hiking. Thanks Source Outdoor for these great shoes!

AUComfy but not totally barefoot
I like the look of these sandals, and straps hold them in place well. But as someone who has worn barefoot shoes for over 10 years now, the sole feels too thick for me, makes me feel a bit like (exaggerated of course) wearing platforms! Worst bit for me is that the sole is angled/tapered at the very back of the shoe, I can't understand the reason for this, but it puts my balance off a bit and feels weird. I'd recommend these shoes for those who are transitioning/haven't tried barefoot shoes before, but not for those used to them.
